UVM Bored is a hub for University of Vermont campus events
It’s a fact:
In between going to classes (or not), college students can get pretty bored sometimes.
That’s where UVM Bored steps in. They’re a student-run organization that spreads the word about things happening in Burlington and the surrounding area. Since 1996, they’ve been collecting, collating, and organizing every activity and event that they get wind of, and then publishing it on their website via their sweet, sweet events calendar – the last two versions of which we’ve had the privilege of creating for them.

Crafting a cohesive media experience
The most recent redesign of their site had the challenging mission to perform not only as an events calendar, but a cohesive media experience. We helped them continue to refine their unique voice from the main UVM branding, and gave them an improved platform to share it with the addition of tons of custom calendar functionality, editorial modules, and featured content options.
We turned the UVM Bored site from a static calendar into a living, breathing, fresh content serving machine that caters to notoriously picky digital natives. Scout Digital is happy to say that we play an ongoing role in helping UVM students stay happy, healthy, and, most importantly, not bored.
