A4TD provides training and employment services to workers age 55+
A4TD is active throughout much of New England and New York. They had introduced several new programs since the last time we had first designed their site five or six years ago. They needed a redesign that preserved the robust functionality of their job board and online application forms but enhanced the visual appeal and smoothed UX.
Beyond refining the look and feel of A4TD’s brand styles, we focused our effort on making their online job board, training portal, and application intuitive. In particular, they were having issues with unqualified candidates slipping through their application funnel.

UX Improvements
Simplifying and splitting a crucial program form funnel
We were able to remedy this problem by breaking their application forms up into two gated steps, with only pre-checked qualifying candidates proceeding to the actual program application fields. We then mapped all fields to A4TDs existing database order so their workflow could continue uninterrupted.

Exploring a visual reboot
We also designed several print collateral items for A4TD. Their new brochure and posters provided the opportunity to explore a visual reboot that updated their typography and color palette but still resonates with their core brand. They’ve received many compliments on their new materials!
