When the Scout team first met with Stowe Dough, we were immediately enchanted with the founders’ dream of a doughnut boutique where European craftsmanship meets Southern hospitality to create a foodie’s dream doughnut destination.

This brand document defines a crafted perception to amplify awareness, attract a specific audience, and differentiate in the local and regional market. Outlining brand goals and visual identity ideas lays a foundation for the development of the brand.

The Scout team wanted to create a visual identity that was as unique as Stowe Dough’s menu offerings, and that would provide them with the visibility to stand out in the local and regional marketplace. Earthy-chic colors and textures, with a touch of European charm and big-city sophistication, the Stowe Dough visual identity is full of fun illustrations and inviting details.
Name Selection
What’s in a name?
The name Stowe Dough arrived during the discovery process. It was something we could effectively ascribe value to, and celebrated the brand’s hometown of Stowe, VT to attract both local and regional fans. Short, easy to spell, memorable, and rhyming—Stowe Dough stuck, and became an anchor for the rest of the brand identity.

Scout Digital worked with Stowe Dough to create a brand that works seamlessly across critical touch points—from packaging to social media to their new website. Our customer-focused ecommerce storefront is empowering them to launch their business safely during COVID-19, securing online orders and communicating with customers across the region. When the time comes to expand in a post-COVID world, Stowe Dough will already be a household favorite.
