Shy Guy works with the freshest local ingredients, and is well known and loved in the local community. We’ve been going to Shy Guy every Friday for quite a while, and although their gelato is next level, their site didn’t quite reflect their… Shy Guy-ness. As a passion project, we began work on a custom single page site that embraces the same colorful vibe that infuses their frozen treats.
Our site redesign was dripping with animation and was a great exercise in motion design. We created a system for the Shy Guy crew to update daily flavors and mark them with a sold-out badge as they run out. That way, visitors can check the site for realtime updates.
