UX Challenge
Combining content from five sites into one cohesive experience
Fernbrook Farms has been a treasured heirloom in Trenton, NJ since 1899. Over the course of that time, the Kuser family grew their farm to include an inn, plant nursery, CSA program, and Environmental Education Center. The businesses under the Fernbrook umbrella had come to have their own unique brands, each with its own sprawling, outdated website.
Fernbrook entrusted us with combining all five existing sites into a single, unified experience under one domain. We embraced the challenge and plotted a sitemap that accommodated all business facets. A custom megamenu reflects this new content framework on the site’s front end.

Custom templates for every need
We designed a number of custom templates to suit each aspect of Fernbrook. This meant we were tackling everything from wedding showcase galleries to user-friendly calendars and a plant nursery inventory tool. Finally, we implemented a modular design system that worked for multiple content types for a rich overall experience.
